    Solid tube

Good tube, sits you high out of the water. Very comfortable to sit in all day, like a lawn chair on the lake! Only tricky part is getting the foam inserts into the chair; the trick is to start by partially inflating the tube and then getting them started at an angle and then straightening them out once you get about 30% of the insert in. I'd also recommend getting the outcast hand pump as some of the other brand hand pumps don't have attachments that match the size of the boston valves on this tube.
