Choice after hours of research
Spent hours researching a good under-wader pant and even for other sports. Pros: Thin (don’t need as much loft as down). Specific rear fabric for durability. Warm (can feel the heat trapped). Comfortable (super light and look good). Warm when wet (essential to water sports). Slick material (helps easy slip on-off for layering). Cons: More like suggestions: zippers for the pockets, cinch or Velcro for cuffs.

Great Piece of kit!
Every now and then there comes along a piece of kit you just need to purchase. These Nano Puff Pants fit that category. When you need them . . . you need them. They have lots of uses, but for me I'm able to reduce & lighten up my bikepacking gear. Able to take a lighter sleeping bag, they fit over my cycling shorts for those colds days, great when off the bike to keep warm, etc. I'm 5'9" 170 lbs and the Med fit perfect. Fit true to size and have the excellent Patagonia quality.

Patagonia Nano Pants
Purchased these after seeing others wearing them on a recent trip. They are lightweight and warm, and perfect for the traveling angler who seeks to minimize weight while traveling by air and having a versatile garment on arrival. Overall I am very pleased with this pant.

Worth the money, excellent puffy pants
I bought these for backpacking to wear at night while sitting around before sleeping and in the morning. It will be awhile before I get to test them for that but I’ve worn them on my morning coffee shop walks, high 30’s (F). First time with mid weight thermals and rain pants and was melting. Takes about 30 min there and back, easy walk. Second time left out the rain pants and still to hot. Third time just the puffy pants and still to warm but okay. This coming Sunday morning should be 30 degrees and I’ll sit outside drinking coffee, maybe just mid weight thermals and I think they’ll keep me warm. I’m going for not wanting to know it’s cold at all while doing nothing. They will be great! If you are doing any sort of light activity they will likely keep you warm down in the teens with thermals. They are more baggy than what I want but I’m not very big, 5’ 10”, 160 lbs, 31” waist. I bought mediums and would probably be better off with a small size but they are not faling down.

Kept me warm in an underrated bag
Bought these for winter camping while ski touring and they were excellent. Put them on immediately after touring and they kept me warm and cozy. Stayed warm all night in very cold conditions with my under rated sleeping bag. They literally saved me. I'm 6'2" 170 pounds; large are too big.
