Renzetti Master Vise

The Master Fly Tying Vise is so named because it does it all. Featuring a jaw mechanism that will securely hold hooks from a 28 to a 10/0, this is the Renzetti fly tying vise for the tier who turns out everything from tiny trout flies to feather duster size billfish offerings. If you are a production tier or a serious saltwater buff, this is the vise to own. The Renzetti Master has the traditional rotary actuator that allows the tier to rotate the jaws by spinning the rotary arm. Without question, the Master fly tying vise is the most advanced and most versatile vise available today. Two styles of bases from which to choose.

True 360 degree rotation; adjustable rotary tension, adjustable and hide away material clip, solid brass bobbin cradle support, anti-corrosion coated patented jaws, adjustable patented jaw hinge to accommodate the full spectrum of hooks. Stainless steel stem, precision dual ball bearing rotary head, advance rotary actuator.

Your Choice of a 6” x 6” black powder coated saltwater pedestal base or a hard anodize deluxe pedestal base, with a saltwater stem support and 6" long stainless steel stem. Or a black powder coated Saltwater c-clamp with an 8” stainless steel stem.

Renzetti Master Vice

Review by Kenneth on 1/22/2021

This is Renzetti's top vice. I chose the master for the capability of tying flies from 10/0 to 28 as I tie saltwater flies as large as 5/0 and trout flies down to 24. Only one set of jaws are required unlike other vices that may require midge and saltwater jaws to more effectively tie large and small patterns. The jaws hold extremely well with very little pressure needed to lock the hook in place. The fit and finish is great and the true rotary function is handy when wrapping material on large fly patterns. I chose the standard base for portability.
