Great waders
These are not thick, warm-footed waders. But they are really light and packable (hence the name!), and they're great so far. A no-brainer to bring them along to mountain streams where normally I wouldn't bother bringing waders. I pair these with some lightweight water shoes and the kit stays pretty small.

Absolute Garbage
I purchased these waders with the expectation of having the standard Patagonia quality I'm typically used to seeing. I've owned several sets of Patagonia waders over the years and I've always been impressed with the quality and durability. That being said, I purchased these waders and they literally fell apart the first time I put them on. The strap clasps are flimsy, undersized and just flat-out weak. Both clasps broke within about 10 minutes of putting the waders on. As I mentioned. I'm a huge fan of Patagonia products, but these waders are complete trash. Not worth the money and an extreme disappointment.

Quite happy
No complaints with either the product or the purchase. I am 5' 9", 150# and purchased a size M. Plenty of room for extra warm layers when needed and not constricting when climbing over deadfall or getting in/out of the raft. My most important consideration was backpacking weight so I cut off the gravel guards which also speeds up drying time and reduced the package size, which was already smaller than any other waders I have owned. Can't comment on durability yet since they have only been worn once. Value for the price was very favorable since they were at a closeout price.

Extremely well made & packable!
I've worn these once so far and had to hike a mile in and out in them. I was very impressed with their lightweight design and what appears to be a very durable exterior and quality construction. They fit exactly as shown in the video photos. I also purchased Redington Escape Pant waders and although I haven't worn them yet, I can tell you that the Patagonia Middle Fork waders are lighter in weight and pack smaller! The water proof pouch is great for phone and keys and their convertible design is a real plus. I highly recommend these waders. The only downside is as the first reviewer noted, the rubber booties will sweat your feet so wear appropriate socks...and don't underestimate this...my first thought was that the booties had actually leaked but that was not the case.

Great waders as far as I can tell
I haven't had a chance to test them in field but they are extremely lightweight and the Small/Med in Regular fit perfectly (I am 5'11, 165lbs, on the leaner side). The materials seem than traditional waders, yet still strong on key areas like the seams, knees and legs. The booties are a thinner rubber and don't breathe, so I'll be wearing some thick moisture wicking socks. Im a backpacker so weight is big factor and these seem to meet my lightweight criteria.
