GRAY REEF FISHING REPORT
11-24-13 Gray Reef is fishing well but still off color below gov. bridge. With the recent sub freezing weather we expect it will clear up the whole river rather quckly. We are now into our winter fly box... fishing san juans, scuds, and midges along with a few leech pattern.
11-2-13 The reef to goverment bridge is fishing well with good clarity. Government down to casper is improving and should be fishable within the next few days. Streamer fishing has definitely picked up over the last week.
10-22-13 The Reef to Lusby is fairly clear but the remainder of the river is cloudy to muddy as you go downstream.
10-14-13 more moisture is causing dirty/muddy clarity conditions from gray reef down. we will post as soon as it clears.
10-12-13 Recent rain and snow storms have kept the lower river muddy but the upper section is holding on. caddis, Bwo's and psuedos still about along with san juan worms, red rock worms and leech patterns working well. streamer fishing will pick up now thru November.
9-21-13 Fishing continues to improve as we get cooler fall temps. The weeds are slowly clearing out, but right now fishing along the weed lines is a great place to put your nymphs. The tricos are slowly fading away but are being replaced by psueodo's and BWO's.
