Genius of Patagonia to come out with the famous Better Sweater and make it in to a 3-in-1 parka. The hooded outer shell has a water repellent finish. The inner layer is a better sweater that can be zipped out and away from the hooded shell. Regular fit and perfect for a cold drizzly day.
Like a favorite splitboard or a diesel Land Cruiser, the new Better Sweater® 3-in-1 Parka can pretty much do it all. Offering adaptable weather protection for any urban or backcountry environment, the bluesign® approved waterproof shell can be worn alone or with the Better Sweater zip-out jacket for additional insulation. In dry and cool conditions, you can pack away the shell and go with the zip-out as a warm outer layer. The shell is made from durable, 2-layer, 100% recycled polyester H2No® Performance Standard fabric with a waterproof/breathable barrier and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish; an integral hood, external storm flap and adjustable hem drawcord seal out inclement weather. Two drop-in envelope pockets have snap closures, and a zippered left-chest pocket offers increased security. Made of soft 100% polyester fleece that’s dyed with a low-impact process that significantly reduces the use of dyestuffs, energy and water compared to conventional dyeing methods, the zip-out jacket has a stand-up collar, two zippered handwarmer pockets, one zippered internal left-chest security pocket and raglan sleeves for comfort under a pack. Jacket attaches to shell with center-front zippers and climb rope snap loops at cuffs and back of neck. Shell: thigh length. Zip-out jacket: hip length.
